For educators, programs & caregivers
Most nature curriculum for young children starts with content: here is a leaf, here is its name. A dysregulated two-year-old cannot identify a leaf — they cannot take turns, follow a two-step instruction, or notice anything at all. Every card and session plan here names its regulation goal before its content goal, because that is the order children actually learn in.

Running an inland program and a beach week? The Educator Bundle and Four Days by the Tide work together — one for the woods and the pond, one for the shore. Buy both, or email about a program licence if more than one facilitator will use them.
Why there is nothing to buy from us
Every activity has been written so that no card depends on a proprietary component. Where the curriculum once named a kit, it now names what the thing actually is — a hand lens, a box with a lid a child can open alone, bark and stones and wooden rounds. The included Gather Your Own Collection sheet says where to find each of them, and carries the six safety rules that matter most with children under five: choke sizing, no berries or seeds or nuts, leave living things living, and check the rules of the land you are standing on, because many parks prohibit removing material.
How a session runs
Cards are invitations, not scripts. The adult offers an entry point, adds support when it expands participation, observes, and steps back when curiosity is carrying the learning.
Offer the entry point and let the place do some of the work.
Add support only where it widens who can take part.
Watch what the child is actually doing, not what the plan expected.
Withdraw once the child's own questions are driving it.
